We added multi layers for an ultimate protection:

• The first layer to make you feel dry with a moisture-wicking organic cotton inner layer for softness and breathability.
• The second layer to make you feel fresh with an anti-microbial lining to fight bacteria and odors.
• The third layer to make you feel secure with a super-absorbent fabric to hold up to 5 tampons' worth.
• And the fourth layer to make you feel free with a leak-resistant outer layer to keep it all in.

But don’t worry, Lilova still look like your regular undies with a thickness under 3mm.

Each of our styles has a different absorbency.

• 2 and 2.5 tampons' worth for your medium flow days.
• 4 and 5 tampons' worth for your heavy flow days.

Of course it is! Our 4 layers work together to make sure Lilova keeps you dry and germ-free. One of the inside layers is naturally anti-microbial thanks to the fabric used which fights odors and bacteria.

The leak-proof layers work together to wick away moisture and odors to keep you dry and fresh, while absorbing the liquid. You won't feel any wetness.

Our undies have an organic cotton inner layer in the crotch that wicks moisture inside quickly.
Then the second layer with PHBV/PLA fights bacteria and odors.
Just follow the care instructions: rinse after use, and don't soak.

Our panties are tested twice — during and after production — by external labs.
They’re free of PFAS and silver nanoparticles.
We only use GOTS-certified organic cotton, and our absorbent layer naturally fights bacteria and odors.

Lilova undies are designed in NYC and manufactured in China under ethical, sustainable conditions:
fair workdays, free meals, female leadership, and eco-responsibility.

A menstruator uses 5,000–15,000 disposable period products over a lifetime.
These products often end up in landfills and oceans, and will take 500 years to decompose as they are mainly made of plastic and chemicals.

So basically they’ll be on your planet much longer than you will.

That’s a whole lot of waste that can be avoided by switching to reusable period panties.

And they will also make you save money with all the single-use disposable products you won't have to buy each month anymore.

It is basically up to you and your flow!

Our styles with a 4 or 5 tampons' worth of absorbency are absorbent enough to be worn alone even on your heaviest days/nights for most people.

But some with super heavy flow might need an extra pair to change or use them as a backup to disposables.

Our styles with a 0.5 to 3 tampons' worth of absorbency are great to use as back-up to tampons/pads/cups/etc. or alone on lighter days.

So we suggest trying Lilova at home first on your heaviest day to see how long you can wear your Lilova without a leak.

Lilova can be worn up to 12 hours depending on your flow.
We recommend changing when you feel wet or when you start seeing leaks at the seams.
Don’t worry, you’ll learn your own rhythm after using them for 1 or 2 cycles.

Same as any period protection: when you feel wet or start to see blood at the seams.

You can bring a waterproof wet bag with you to keep a clean one and store the used one, and change them discreetly in any bathroom.
Easy and stress free.

That depends on how often you want to do laundry.

If you’re a minimalist, you can start with 2 or 3 and wash them every night.

If you don’t want to do laundry so often, we recommend 5 to 7 pairs to be fully covered for your entire cycle. Some customers own 10+ pairs and wear them every day.

Yes! Many of our customers use our heavy absorbency styles for light bladder leaks and stress incontinence.
Our underwear is discreet, breathable and comfortable.
But if you have more serious urinary incontinence, we recommend trying them at home first.

So much more comfortable than disposable mesh undies and bulky pads!
Because who has time to worry about bleeding leaks with a newborn to take care of?

Lilova are actually more breathable than regular undies. The moisture-wicking organic cotton inner layer as well as the anti-microbial lining make Lilova more hygienic than panty liners.
Lilova will actually help with your discomfort.

It’s super easy!

After use, rinse them with cold water until the water runs clear.

Then, you can either hand wash or machine wash on cold with your regular laundry.

Make sure to use a gentle detergent and do not use any bleach or fabric softener.

To preserve the quality, always line dry your Lilova underwear.

And remember: never soak your Lilova or leave them wet in a pile. Following these care instructions will ensure your Lilova underwear stays effective and lasts longer!
